Career guidance
Every path below is written for students still in school. Start with the stream you are considering and read the roadmap before you commit.

Reading a career roadmap without fooling yourself
Every roadmap here lists the same four things: the group you need, the entry test involved, the degree route and the skills worth building each year. Here is how to use them to make an actual decision.

Start from where you are, not from a job title
Open the roadmap for the class you are in right now and read only that year first. A Class 9 student reading the Class 12 section learns nothing usable this month.
Each roadmap is written so that any year can be entered late. Falling behind the ideal sequence is normal; almost nobody follows it exactly.
The three filters that actually decide a path
- 1Group. Some routes close permanently at group selection. Check this before anything else.
- 2Entry test. Two years of preparation is a real cost. If you are unwilling to pay it, the path is not open regardless of interest.
- 3Money and location. Degree length, fee structure and whether the programme exists near you decide more outcomes in Pakistan than aptitude does.
A path that survives all three filters and bores you slightly is a better bet than one that excites you and fails a filter.
What the roadmaps do not claim
We do not publish salary figures, placement rates or cut-off predictions. Those numbers move every admission cycle and the honest ones are rarely public. Where a requirement comes from an institution or conducting body, verify it on their site before you rely on it — we date every page for exactly that reason.
Turning a roadmap into this month's plan
- Pick the single skill listed for your current class and do it for four weeks.
- Identify the one subject that gates the path and raise it, rather than spreading effort evenly.
- Write down the entry test date and count the months. That number should set your study schedule, not your mood.
Still torn between two paths
