Guide

How to choose a course, and how to know it is working

Buying a course is easy; finishing one is not. Here is how to pick the right one for your actual gap and how to tell within two weeks whether it is helping.

Last reviewed by the Jenedu editorial team.

Diagnose the gap before you buy

Most students buy a course for a subject, when the real problem is narrower. Three common gaps, and what each needs:

  • Concept gap — you cannot follow the chapter at all. You need teaching from the beginning of the topic, slowly.
  • Practice gap — you understand the explanation but cannot solve unfamiliar questions. You need volume and worked solutions, not more lectures.
  • Exam gap — you can solve questions at home but lose marks in the paper. You need timed practice and marking against the board's scheme.

Look at your last two test papers and count which of the three cost you the most marks. Buy for that.

What a Jenedu course includes

  • Structured modules with a fixed order, so there is always an obvious next step.
  • Practice sets at the end of each module with worked solutions.
  • Progress tracking that saves across sessions, so you can pick up where you stopped.
  • Lifetime access to the course you bought, including later updates to its material.

Prices are displayed in PKR. Checkout is processed in USD by our payment provider, and the exact converted amount is shown before you confirm.

The two-week test

  1. 1Complete the first two modules within fourteen days.
  2. 2Attempt a past-paper section on the same topics, under time.
  3. 3Compare against a similar attempt before you started.

If nothing moved and you did the work, the course is not matched to your gap — tell us and we will help you switch or refund within the refund window rather than leave you paying for something that is not landing.

Free first, always

Our study notes, career roadmaps and articles are free and cover a large part of what most students need. Start there. A paid course is worth it when you have identified a specific gap that free material has not closed — not as a way to feel productive.

Finishing, which is the hard part

  • Schedule the course into two fixed slots a week rather than studying it "when free". Nobody is ever free.
  • Do the practice set before moving on, even when the explanation felt obvious. Recognition is not recall.
  • Write one line after each module about what you would still get wrong. That line is your revision list in March.
