What this quiz can tell you, and what it cannot
An interest quiz is a conversation starter, not a diagnosis. Read this before you take too much meaning from your result.

How the result is produced
The quiz maps your answers to the career paths published on this site by matching stated interests and working preferences against each path's stream, subject load and typical day-to-day work. It is a rule-based match against our own catalogue — it is not a psychometric instrument and it has not been validated as one.
A quiz can surface options you had not considered. It cannot know your marks, your finances, your family situation or how you behave in a difficult chapter — and those decide far more than interest does.
How to read your result honestly
- 1Treat the top three as a shortlist, not a ranking.
- 2For each one, open the roadmap and read the Class 11 and 12 requirements. If the required subjects are ones you dislike, note that immediately.
- 3Check the entry test. Willingness to prepare for it for two years is a harder filter than interest.
- 4Find one person doing that work and ask what an ordinary Tuesday looks like. Not the best day — an ordinary one.
When the result surprises you
A surprising result usually means one of three things: you answered as the person you would like to be, the path you assumed was yours is a habit rather than a choice, or you genuinely have interests outside the group you are in. All three are worth ten minutes of thought before dismissing.
What to do next
- Read the full roadmap for your top match, including the class you are currently in.
- Try one small real task from that field — a small program, a set of accounts, a short piece of writing, a lab-style experiment.
- Request free guidance if two options remain close after that. A conversation with your marks in front of us settles most ties.
