Who maintains this page
This page is maintained by the Jenedu team to explain, in plain language, how the platform handles information belonging to students in classes 9 to 12 and the parents or guardians supporting them.
It describes our current practices. It is not a legal certification and it is not independent verification by any third party.
Information we collect
Account information you enter: your name, email address, class level, stream, school name and an optional short bio and avatar.
Activity you create on the platform: items you save, career roadmap milestones you mark complete, and messages you send us through the contact form.
We do not ask for your address, phone number, government identity numbers or payment card details in order to use the free plan.
How we use it
To sign you in and show your own dashboard, saved items and roadmap progress.
To reply to questions you send us and to deliver the notes, courses or events you request.
To understand which pages help students so we can improve them. We look at aggregated patterns, not individual browsing histories.
Who can see your profile
Your profile row, saved items and roadmap progress are readable only by your own signed-in account. Other students cannot see them.
Our support team can access account records when needed to resolve a request you have raised with us.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a managed cloud database with row-level access rules that scope every record to the account that owns it.
Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form.
No online service can promise perfect security. We do not claim to be immune from every possible incident, and we will tell affected users if something material happens.
Students under 18
Jenedu is written for school students, so most of our users are minors. We collect the minimum information needed to run an account.
A parent or guardian may write to us at any time to review, correct or delete the information held about their child.
Your choices
You can edit your name, class, stream, school and bio from your dashboard at any time.
You can remove saved items and roadmap progress yourself.
You can ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it by contacting us. We action deletion requests within thirty days.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your saved items. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
We also use limited analytics to count page visits and understand which study material is useful. This is measured in aggregate.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out.
Advertising and third-party partners
Jenedu may display advertising supplied by third-party vendors, including Google. Google is a third-party vendor that uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies and recommend reviewing each vendor's own privacy policy.
We do not share your name, email address or account records with advertising partners.
Contact and data requests
Write to hello@eduneeds.pk for any request to access, correct, export or delete the information held about you or your child. We are based in Karachi, Pakistan.
Changes to this policy
